José Luis "Pepe" Villamil Rodríguez was born on 21 June 1917 in La Habana. Married Ada Ela Juana Veloso García on 10 January 1945. They had two children:
He was a lawyer, with office at O'Reilly 315, Habana Vieja, also journalist of the Weekly newspaper of political satire of great circulation, Zig Zag. He was the creator of the famous character Sindulfo Vinagreta y Unga de Vaca. He continued writing for Zig Zag after exile, he in La Habana, Zig Zag in Miami, sending articles in letters without sender's address.
He died in La Habana, of Angina, on 20 August 1963.
Ada Ela Bibiana Villamil Veloso "Adita" was born on 28 August 1946, in El Vedado, La Habana. She married on 30 January 1976 in at the Saint john The Apostle Parish, Hialeah, Florida, with Howard Francis Mooney, born in Kingston, North Carolina, on 21 April 1947, had a son, Mark Howard, born on 7 October 1982 in Miami. Ada died at St. Anne's Catholic Nursing Center, Miami on 27 May 2021.
