Julio Dionisio Aereopagita Rodríguez Fernández "Colás" was born on 9 October 1898 in the City of Pinar del Río. He was baptized Nicolás Dionisio Manuel on 19 March 1899, by Father D. Maanuel Menéndez at the Parish of Pinar del Río. The godparents were Manuel Fernández Rubido and Adelina Fernández Abreu.
He married Rosalía Medina Cazes "Chalía," daughter of Enrique and Julia, on 15 November 1927, in Puentes Grandes, La Habana. They had three children:
Quico was born on 14 May 1932 in El Cerro. Came to Miami and lived with his uncle Humberto and aunt Nieves. After Nieves died, on 7 August 1972, he moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico, with Manuel Porto. He married a girl there, moved to Connecticut and had two daughters. He got divorced and returned to Miami, where he eventually became a Jehova Witness.
Raúl de la Caridad was born on 22 October 1933 in El Cerro, La Habana. He was baptized on 4 December 1933, at the Parish of El Salvador in El Cerro. The godparents were Humberto Rodríguez Fernández and his grandmother, Julia Cazes. He died on 7 June 1934 in La Víbora, La Habana.
Elsa was born on 25 October 1935 in Arroyo Naranjo, La Habana. she married on 2 May 1955 in Juzgado Norte and by the church, with Harvey Seifert, a new yorker. She had a daughter, Diana Leslie, born on 24 May 1956 in New York.
