Nuestra Señora del Pilar de Zaragosa Serafín de Monte Granado y Walfredo "Lola" Rodríguez Fernández was born on 12 October 1905 in the city of Pinar del Río. She was baptized Dolores Guillermina Pilar on 26 February 1906 in Pinar del Río's Parish, even though the baptism actually took place at Finca Nuestra Señora del Carmen. The godparents were Guillermo E. Villamil and Dolores E. Villamil.
She married José Requeijo Fernández, son of Antonio Requeijo Sánche. They lived at Enamorados Street, almost at the corner with Flores Street, Santos Suárez, La Habana.
