Alejandro Fidel Fernando Rodríguez Fernández was born on wednesday 24 April 1895 in Viñales. He was baptized on 17 October 1895, at San Cayetano Parish, by Father D. Francisco Javier Graña Borregro and was named Fidel Fernando. The godparents were Tomás Rodríguez Ávila and Nicolasa Abreu Ávila.
He was a journalist and poet. Very popular in Pinar del Río. Never married or had children. Died of a stroke after leaving Cuevas de Viñales, on monday 1 April 1918.
