What role has faith played in your life?<br />

A very important role.  Faith has sustained me during hard times, Miriam has always been a bastion of faith, a solid rock at my side, as Father Russell put it, she has "deep faith."<br />
<br />
Our faith has always manifested by trying to help all around us, in simple but reliable manner.  Traditional rather than trending.  We never embraced the "Cursillos" movement, nor the Charismatic phase of so many that, according to a priest friend of ours, "Strum and strum the guitar and confuse God with a Gallego."<br />
<br />
Throughout life reverses, Miriam and I have survived without falling into depression or ever thinking that God would send us more than we could handle.  I attribute that to faith.<br />
