What are your favorite memories of each of your children growing up?

Humberto my eldest was a year old when we camped at Bern Switzerland and he walked by the Bern river, across which was a zoo, wearing red pants while I filmed him with an 8mm camera, which film was transferred to DVD. He was, of my three sons, the closest to my father and many precious moments of both of them are imprinted in my memory. He has always been close to us, worked with us for many years, learned computers and accounting on his own, has had many accomplishments and remains very close to me to this day, always trying to help.

Pablo, probably the smartest of my three sons, did many remarkable things, but probably the most impacting for me was when he was about eleven years old, we had bought a Betamax, one of the first video tape recorders and it had gotten stuck. We had gone out and when we returned home, the Betamax was in a million pieces on the huge counter between the kitchen and family room of the Kendall house. I thought it would never work again but to my surprise, after he put it all together again, it worked flawlessly. Pablo also fixed lawnmowers and sold them at the flea market with my uncle Manolo, with whom he became very close, adopted as a godfather.

Daniel grew up defending himself from his brothers, I remember him in his playpen grabbing and protecting his toys from his brothers that teased him. He was always serious, tried different things, electrician apprentice, martial arts, forest ranger school, got a bachelor degree in Criminology from FSU, worked as a detective at the airport's duty-free store, finally went to law school at Sand Diego. The memory that stands out, besides his resilience during the backpacking trip we made at Great Smoky Mountains National Park, was when we went to se a brown truck with huge tires and 4x4 and when he went to try it by himself while I remained talking with the owner, returned with the truck almost completely covered in mud.
